Bayside Credit — Terms & Official Rules

Bayside Credit is a promotional discount toward a future stay at The Bayside Escape — not a gift card, gift certificate, stored-value instrument, or cash. You earn it through our programs; it can never be purchased.

• Has no cash value and cannot be redeemed for cash.
• Is non-transferable — it may not be sold, transferred, or assigned.
• Is redeemable only toward a future direct booking made with us (not through Airbnb, Vrbo, Evolve, or another platform).
• Expires 12 months from the date it is issued; unused credit is forfeited.
• One credit is applied per booking, and the amount applied may be capped (typically the greater of $100 or 5% of the accommodation subtotal).

The Build Challenge is a free activity for guests — there is no purchase or entry fee to participate, and no purchase is necessary to earn or win. Winners are determined by skill (building), not by chance.

How to earn: build one or more of the challenges, log them on the leaderboard, then share a photo publicly (see the social rules below). Your leaderboard points convert to Bayside Credit at a fixed rate, up to a seasonal maximum per crew (not per person).

When it's issued: after we verify your post, and after the post has stayed publicly visible for the required hold window (currently 14 days). If the post is removed before the window ends, the credit is not issued.

Eligibility: current or recent guests with a Bayside Rewards account. Points and credit values are calculated by us and are final. We may modify, suspend, or end the challenge, and adjust the conversion rate or caps, at any time. Void where prohibited.

If you share your build to earn credit, your post must:

• Show your build and tag @thebaysideescape;
• Be public and stay up for the hold window; and
• Include a clear, honest disclosure that you received something of value — for example #ad, #sponsored, or "I earned booking credit for this." Place it with the post itself, where it's easy to see.

We ask only for an honest post — your genuine experience. Credit is never conditioned on saying something positive, and you're free to share your honest opinion. (This follows the FTC's endorsement and reviews rules.)

Share your personal referral link from your Rewards page. When someone you refer creates an account and completes a paid stay, you earn Bayside Credit as a thank-you. Please share it yourself with people you know — we won't message your friends on your behalf.

Referral credit is earned only after the referred guest's stay is completed and not refunded or canceled. Self-referrals (referring yourself under another email or account) don't qualify.

These programs are for genuine guests. We may withhold, void, or reverse credit — and cancel related bookings or accounts — if we reasonably suspect fraud, tampering, duplicate or fake accounts, self-referral, points-gaming, or any violation of these terms. Decisions are made at our discretion. We may update these terms at any time; material changes will be reflected here.
