What you've been threatening since 2014

This is the year you finally make it happen.

You've been threatening this trip since college. Then since the kids were born. Then since the kids started school. Then since the wedding. Then since the divorce. Then since the move. The group chat keeps almost-planning it and life keeps eating the weekend.

Maybe you're the one who's always done the organizing for this group. Maybe this is the year you decide to step up and send the first message — "What about September. I'll handle the rental." Either way, the friend group that drifted apart since the kids got bigger doesn't have to stay drifted.

Six bedrooms means each couple gets a real door. Single friends either get their own room or pair up by choice. Nobody on a couch. Nobody pretending to be comfortable on a futon. The kitchen handles communal breakfast. The pergola holds the long Friday dinner. The fire pit takes over Saturday night.

And several friend groups now rebook this property every year — because once you find the right house, the tradition writes itself.

SC

"Some of my favorite memories in this house are from weekends just like the one you're planning — with friends who feel like family. My hope is your crew picks the weekend, locks in the date, and starts the tradition. The years go fast. Make this the trip you're glad you didn't keep postponing."

— Soul Coulibaly, Owner

The moments your crew will live

Where the weekend actually happens.

Friday arrivals

Front deck, sunset, the hugs that take longer than expected.

Some people you haven't seen in three years. Some you haven't seen in ten. The front deck holds the whole crew for the first toast, the Bay glowing behind you, somebody pointing out a cargo ship on the horizon. Nobody's checked into a separate hotel. Nobody's leaving in two hours.

The long Friday dinner

Pergola, string lights, three bottles in.

Communal cooking in the full kitchen — someone always takes over, that's still true twenty years later. The long table set under the lighted pergola seats 20. Two hours of food, four hours of stories, the old jokes that still land.

After dark

Fire pit — the conversation only this crew has.

The fire pit takes over once dinner's cleared. The stories that go too deep. The catching-up that needed a real weekend, not a 90-minute coffee. Music wraps at 10 (watermen community), but the fire and the talking keep going. The closest friends always wake up tired.

The slow morning

Rear deck — birds, deer, real silence.

First one up gets the rear deck and the coffee. Purple martins doing acrobatic flips catching bugs over the lawn. Sometimes a blue heron at the marsh edge. If you're stealthy, deer at the feeder. The kind of slow morning your friend who's been grinding for a decade actually needs.

The shared adventure

Two crab traps in the front-yard ditch.

Drop them in the morning, pull them in the afternoon. Most of the crew has never done this. Most haven't done it since they were kids. Blue crabs April through mid-December. The thing nobody planned that becomes the story everyone tells the next year.

Day trip — or not

Cambridge as your basecamp town.

When you want to leave the house, Cambridge is 40 minutes — RAR Brewing, Black Water Bakery, harbor walk. Old Salty's (7 min) for the iconic Maryland crab feast with mallets and paper. Most groups do one town day and spend the rest of the weekend right here at the house. That's the right ratio.

This is where the weekend actually happens

Good people, open sky, nowhere to be.

Golden hour at the pergola — this is the moment people come back for year after year

The pergola fills up fast — good thing it seats 20

What Guests Say

"We had such a fantastic stay! The house truly lived up to the listing—tons of space for our group of 20, and the layout made it easy for everyone to relax and enjoy. The host was amazing: super responsive, thoughtful, and proactive with details and local tips. The property itself is beautiful and private, with a great backyard and a huge flex barn. The kitchen had everything we needed, and all the linens were spotless. We'd absolutely come back for another stay!"

"This is great property for folks looking for accessibility - there's a ramp and primary bedroom / bath are on the main floor. This was a must for us as we were traveling with elderly parents with limited mobility. The setting is scenic but the location is more remote than some — so good for those looking for a quiet and relaxing time. We enjoyed nearby restaurant called "Old Salty's." We appreciated how responsive the host was to our suggestions and questions. We appreciated small details, like laundry baskets in the rooms as well as Tupperware in the kitchen, puzzles and card games in the sitting area. I believe the host is continuing to add more amenities as guests send more suggestions!"

"The house was perfect for a large family get away. It was quiet and private enough that we had a great sense of privacy and comfort while still being not too far from stores, restaurants, and other things to do if you want to get outside. The views on the drive in and over the water were incredible"
