Most families comparing this house are also looking at a beach rental, so let me save you the trouble of finding out the hard way.
You get bay views from the deck, the yard and the fire pit. You do not get water access on the property. There is no pool, no dock and no private beach. The public launches and the sea-glass beach are about five minutes by car. If swimming off the back yard is the point of your trip, book the beach house instead. I would rather lose the booking than read that review.
What you get here instead is room. Six bedrooms, three living areas, a kitchen that can actually feed everyone at once, and two washers going while the kids are outside. For a full week with children, that is usually the thing that decides whether you come home rested.

"We had such a fantastic stay! The house truly lived up to the listing—tons of space for our group of 20, and the layout made it easy for everyone to relax and enjoy. The host was amazing: super responsive, thoughtful, and proactive with details and local tips. The property itself is beautiful and private, with a great backyard and a huge flex barn. The kitchen had everything we needed, and all the linens were spotless. We'd absolutely come back for another stay!"

This was a must for us as we were traveling with elderly parents with limited mobility. The setting is scenic but the location is more remote than some — so good for those looking for a quiet and relaxing time. We enjoyed nearby restaurant called "Old Salty's." We appreciated how responsive the host was to our suggestions and questions. We appreciated small details, like laundry baskets in the rooms as well as Tupperware in the kitchen, puzzles and card games in the sitting area. I believe the host is continuing to add more amenities as guests send more suggestions!"

We went for a family weekend (mix of 18 kids and adults) and it was very spacious and comfortable for everyone. The pergola in the back was an especially big hit! We highly recommend and would stay again."

Verified review — see it on Airbnb"The house was perfect for a large family get away. It was quiet and private enough that we had a great sense of privacy and comfort while still being not too far from stores, restaurants, and other things to do if you want to get outside. The views on the drive in and over the water were incredible"
