For the work that matters and the people who do it

A workshop space + private rooms + a step-free main level.

For doula trainings + midwifery continuing-ed: the Flex Barn is 1,600 sqft + 16-foot ceilings + rubber-mat floor. Suited for somatic work, birth-position practice, case- study deep-dives, certification workshops. BYO props, balls, anatomical models.

For postpartum-recovery retreats: the step-free main level and its main-level master suite (King bed + freestanding soaking tub) support recent-postpartum and post-C- section recovery. Six bedrooms means real sleep — not shared-corridor hotel sleep.

Honest: we are the SPACE only — no instructors, no birth equipment, no clinical supplies. You bring the curriculum, the cohort, the equipment. We provide the room big enough for the work + the bedrooms quiet enough for the integration.

A day in the rhythm of the work

Six moments your trainees will remember.

Early morning

Solo reflection on the front deck

Mourning doves, the bay quiet, the journal you actually open. The kind of quiet you can't manufacture in a hotel conference center — and the kind your trainees arrive starved for.

Morning movement

Flex Barn, sliding door open

1,600 sqft of rubber floor for somatic warm-up, breath work, or the birth-position practice the curriculum calls for. The barn is empty by design — you bring the mats and the format.

Mid-morning

Training circle in the round

The 1,600 sqft fits a 16-person circle without feeling crowded. Sound-buffered from the bedrooms upstairs. Sliding door open for fresh air, closed for the vulnerable parts.

Midday

Group meals in the full kitchen

Food becomes the shared practice. Granite island for the prep, formal dining for 10, breakfast room for 6. Most cohorts find the meal is where the deeper integration actually happens.

Afternoon embodiment

Walk + crab traps in the front-yard ditch

Grounding, embodied, present. Two crab traps in the ditch right at the property — pull them, watch what's in there, put them back. The body remembers what the mind forgets.

Sunset closing

Pergola string lights, fire pit

The closing circle under the pergola lights, then the fire pit for the conversations that don't fit inside a curriculum. The day ends the way the work asks it to — slowly.

What Guests Say

"We had such a fantastic stay! The house truly lived up to the listing—tons of space for our group of 20, and the layout made it easy for everyone to relax and enjoy. The host was amazing: super responsive, thoughtful, and proactive with details and local tips. The property itself is beautiful and private, with a great backyard and a huge flex barn. The kitchen had everything we needed, and all the linens were spotless. We'd absolutely come back for another stay!"

"This is great property for folks looking for accessibility - there's a ramp and primary bedroom / bath are on the main floor. This was a must for us as we were traveling with elderly parents with limited mobility. The setting is scenic but the location is more remote than some — so good for those looking for a quiet and relaxing time. We enjoyed nearby restaurant called "Old Salty's." We appreciated how responsive the host was to our suggestions and questions. We appreciated small details, like laundry baskets in the rooms as well as Tupperware in the kitchen, puzzles and card games in the sitting area. I believe the host is continuing to add more amenities as guests send more suggestions!"

"We absolutely loved our stay. [The] house was beautiful, the amenities were excellent, and we loved the crabs!! We went for a family weekend (mix of 18 kids and adults) and it was very spacious and comfortable for everyone. The pergola in the back was an especially big hit! We highly recommend and would stay again."

"The house was perfect for a large family get away. It was quiet and private enough that we had a great sense of privacy and comfort while still being not too far from stores, restaurants, and other things to do if you want to get outside. The views on the drive in and over the water were incredible"
